Print Method

All prints signed by the artist are printed with archival ink sets and Luster (Decorative Orders) or Fiber (Archival Orders) paper. This combination of ink and paper results in archival characteristics considerably better than that of traditional photographic technologies (Wilhelm Research testing indicates better than 80/90 years respectively without any significant shift or fade when handled/displayed properly).

Mounting / Framing Method

If archival prints are ordered mounted and/or framed, they will be mounted on acid-free archival museum board using conventional archival methods. Mats are cut from acid free board.

Decorative framing utilizes prefabricated frames and decorative mounting/matte board. While the archival properties of the print are essentially the same, the mounting materials are not archival.

Framing can involve many different options per the client’s input. We typically suggest wood or metal frames that will match the interior of your planned presentation location and an acrylic facing. Museum glass can be used but this can greatly complicate shipping. For any artwork being shipped, it is strongly recommended that a quality acrylic be utilized as it is safer, lighter and absolutely optically clear.

We suggest framing materials supplied by American Frame.
